Delta Light
Light is the invisible architect of every interior. It determines how you experience a space, how materials come to life, how colours reveal their depth. Delta Light understands that like no other. Since 1989, this West Flemish family business has been designing and manufacturing architectural lighting fixtures that set the worldwide standard for the perfect symbiosis between light, design and architecture. From discreet recessed spots that blend into the ceiling to sculptures that define a space: Delta Light offers a lighting universe that is as extensive as it is refined.
At Integration At Home, we integrate Delta Light fixtures into your complete smart home concept. Every fixture is connected to your KNX installation or Control4 system via DALI control, so you enjoy seamless dimming scenes, daylight regulation and fully automated lighting scenarios. The result is lighting that is not only architecturally outstanding, but also intelligently moves with your life.
The Story of Delta Light – From Wevelgem to the World
Delta Light was founded in 1989 in Wevelgem, Belgium by Paul Ameloot — managing director and designer with a keen eye for the interplay between light and architecture. What began as a specialised Belgian lighting manufacturer grew into a global leader in architectural lighting, active in more than 120 countries with inspiring showrooms in all major design capitals.
The future of the company is secured with Peter and Jan Ameloot, who joined their father at the helm and brought additional dynamism and ambition. Delta Light remains an independent family business with headquarters, design department, R&D, quality control and production under one roof in West Flanders. That vertical integration guarantees a consistent quality that few lighting brands can match.
In 2022, Delta Light Group strengthened its international position with the acquisition of Lambent Lighting in North America. Alongside the flagship Delta Light, the group also encompasses AQForm, the award-winning Polish lighting brand, and LEDsGO, specialising in bespoke LED solutions for OEM partners.
The Lighting Bible, Delta Light’s legendary product catalogue of more than 800 pages, has become an indispensable reference work for architects and lighting designers worldwide.
Design Philosophy – Comfort, Simplicity, Consistency
Delta Light summarises its mission in three key words: comfort, simplicity and consistency. Every fixture is designed to provide visual comfort with minimal glare and optimal light distribution. The design language is deliberately restrained so that the light itself takes centre stage, not the fixture. And because product families consistently share the same design language, you can equip an entire project with Delta Light and maintain the same aesthetic coherence everywhere — from the living room to the garden, from the bathroom to the garage.
That philosophy is supported by an impressive track record in design awards. Delta Light has won multiple Red Dot Design Awards, including the prestigious Red Dot Best of the Best for the Soliscape. The Oono collection received both a Red Dot Award and a German Design Award. The High Profile project, a collaboration with MVRDV, won the Architeller Award 2024 for its sustainable creation from residual aluminium profiles.
Delta Light was furthermore selected as lighting sponsor for the Belgian pavilion The Green Arch at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai.
The Product Families – Architectural Light for Every Project
Delta Light offers an extraordinarily extensive range of architectural fixtures. Below are the key product families that we at Integration At Home deploy for residential projects.
Tweeter – Precision Spotlighting with ERS Technology
The Tweeter is one of the most remarkable product families in the Delta Light collection. Available as recessed and surface-mounted, Tweeter introduces the patented ERS – Ex-centric Rotation System. This asymmetric pivot point combines extreme rotation and tilt capacity in a single fluid motion, allowing you to direct the light with surgical precision. The dual-shell construction prevents sight into the ceiling, while the Oreo principle creates a subtle halo of light around the central LED for refined light aesthetics. Available with DALI control on a 48V system.
Boxy – The Indestructible Classic
The Boxy is a long-standing Delta Light classic. The deeply recessed LED eliminates direct glare and delivers pleasant, functional light that is ideal for living spaces, corridors and bathrooms. Available as surface-mounted, pendant or Shiftline module, in single or double versions. Choose a gold or bronze accent on the inside for a warm appearance. The Boxy is suitable for your entire project — from bathroom to outdoor space — and retains the same recognisable design throughout.
Supernova – Geometric Power
The Supernova is an extensive range of purely geometrically shaped fixtures that guarantee powerful illumination and atmosphere. With in-house developed circuit boards specifically designed for uniform illumination of the polycarbonate. Optional presence detection and tunable white versions enable daylight regulation and presence management. Supernova Flat reduces the visual profile to just 66 mm.
Spy – Invisible Precision
The Spy collection is the pinnacle of discreet accent lighting. Available on 48V systems with DALI control, Spy offers adjustable spots with a minimal visual footprint. Thanks to precision lenses with beam angles from 8° to 39°, Spy is the ideal instrument for art lighting, architectural accents and atmospheric highlights in any interior.
Oono – Poetry in Light
The Oono collection is a family of dualities. It combines elegant forms with a warm diffused light effect, pairs the robust appearance of metal with the purity of glass, and unites outdoor lighting with indoor solutions. IP-rated versions for outdoors, alongside surface-mounted and pendant versions for indoors. Awarded both a Red Dot Award and a German Design Award.
Soliscape – Light Meets Acoustics
The Soliscape combines lighting comfort with acoustic damping and won the Red Dot Best of the Best for it. By using behavioural parameters to optimise comfort, Soliscape elevates workplace lighting to a higher level. An ideal solution for home offices and workspaces where concentration and wellbeing are paramount.
Other Collections
The Delta Light range comprises dozens more product families: the minimalist Minigrid for trimless recessed installation, the architectural Frax for outdoor projection with seven different light effects, the decorative Superloop pendants, the linear Femtoline for indirect lighting, the versatile Entero that can equip an entire project with a single fixture type, and many more. Every project is unique, and Delta Light offers the breadth and depth to meet every requirement.
Technology and Control – DALI as the Backbone
Delta Light fixtures are designed for professional lighting control. The vast majority of the residential range is available with DALI drivers — the internationally standardised digital protocol for lighting control. DALI provides individual addressing per fixture, precise dimming, tunable white control and bidirectional communication for status monitoring and fault detection.
The 48V systems from Delta Light, as used in the Tweeter and Spy families, combine safe extra-low voltage with DALI control for maximum flexibility. Every fixture on the 48V rail can be individually controlled, dimmed and monitored.
In addition, Delta Light offers wireless control solutions with a Wireless Control DIM5 + DALI Gateway, bridging wireless operation and wired DALI fixtures. Dimming is also possible via phase-cut (TRIAC), 1–10V and potentiometer, depending on the fixture type and installation requirements.
Delta Light and Your Smart Home – The IAHome Approach
KNX + DALI Integration
In a KNX-based smart home, DALI gateways serve as the bridge between your KNX bus and the Delta Light fixtures. Each DALI line can contain up to 64 individually addressable fixtures. Via KNX-DALI gateways from manufacturers such as ABB, MDT or Eelectron, these fixtures are incorporated into your complete home automation. The result: you dim the Delta Light Tweeter spots above your dining table via the same Basalte or CJC Systems push button with which you also control your curtains and heating.
Control4 Integration
Via the Control4 X4 OS, you control your Delta Light lighting seamlessly from the same interface as your audio, video, climate and security. DALI fixtures are linked to the Control4 system via gateways, allowing you to include lighting scenes in your daily routines. Movie night? One press on the Control4 Halo Remote and the Delta Light Boxy spots dim to 10%, the Supernova above the sofa switches off, and your Barco home cinema starts up.
Lighting Scenes and Automation
We programme lighting scenes that combine your Delta Light fixtures with curtain control, heating and audio. A morning scene that gradually warms up the Tweeter spots along with the sunrise. A dinner scene that sets the Oono pendants to 30% warm white while the Spy accents highlight your art collection. A night scene that extinguishes all lighting except the Logic ground spots as night lighting. Daylight regulation automatically adjusts the artificial lighting based on the available natural light.
Tunable White for Circadian Comfort
Many Delta Light fixtures are available in tunable white versions, with which the colour temperature is dynamically adjusted from cool white during the day to warm white in the evening. Via your KNX system or Control4, we automate this adjustment so that your lighting supports your circadian rhythm — without you ever having to think about it.
Why Delta Light at Integration At Home
Delta Light is a Belgian top product that belongs in a complete concept, not as a standalone purchase from a web shop. The true strength of Delta Light only unfolds when every fixture is correctly positioned, precisely calibrated and intelligently controlled.
At Integration At Home, we offer that complete picture. We work with your architect and interior designer to create a lighting plan that enhances the architecture of your home. We select the right fixtures, lens angles and colour temperatures per room. We integrate every fixture into your KNX or Control4 system with DALI control and programme lighting scenes that maximise your daily comfort.
And we ensure an installation that is aesthetically impeccable — with trimless recessed mounting, invisible cabling and a consistent design appearance throughout your entire home.
From West Flanders to your home. Belgian light, Belgian craftsmanship, Belgian integration.
