CJC Systems
There are switches you operate without noticing them. And there are switches you consciously touch, because the contact with the material is an experience in itself. CJC Systems makes that second kind. Since 1994, this Belgian family business from Roeselare has been designing and manufacturing design switches that bring architecture and technology together in a single gesture. Aluminium, precisely finished, seamlessly integrated and natively compatible with KNX.
At Integration At Home, we install CJC Systems switches as the tangible layer of your smart home. Every press of a switch translates into a KNX command that dims the lighting, activates the blinds or recalls a scene. The switch is no longer a utilitarian component, but a design object that defines your interior.
About CJC Systems – Belgian Craftsmanship Since 1994
CJC Systems presented its first design switch in 1994 at a prestigious design fair in Paris. What began as a vision to transform everyday objects into design pieces grew into an internationally respected brand with a worldwide network of distributors and dealers.
Since May 2024, CJC Systems has been fully owned by the Jaecques family. The company is led by CEO Stefaan Jaecques, with creative direction from COO Simon Jaecques. From the workshop on Vloedstraat in Roeselare, switches are designed and produced that find their way to luxury hotels, royal residences and exclusive private homes worldwide.
Reference projects include Four Seasons and Hilton Hotels & Resorts, alongside private residences of internationally renowned personalities and heads of state. The philosophy of CJC Systems is clear: creating beauty that is made for eternity. Every product is designed to visually surprise and to convey a feeling of quality and refinement upon touch.
Material and Finish – The Heart of CJC
What sets CJC Systems apart from conventional switch manufacturers is the material. Every switch is crafted from solid aluminium, milled from a single piece with the utmost precision. The result is a clean edge that seamlessly transitions from the front to the side, fitting perfectly against your wall surface.
More Than Fourteen Premium Finishes
The standard range includes finishes such as Antique Bronze, Antique Ferro Chocolate Matt, Antique Ferro Chocolate Clouded, Brown Sanded Bronze, Eau de Brun, Stream Bronze, Roasted Bronze, Brown Copper, anodised plain aluminium, anodised black, anodised grey, anodised brass, brushed stainless steel and matt gold. On top of that, special textures are available, including 24 carat gold, waved brass natural and solid lacquer. And for those seeking a perfect match with the interior: every switch is available in a custom RAL colour of your choice.
All finishes are available across the full product range: switches, cover plates for sockets, bedside lamps and orientation lighting. This means every electrical connection point in your home shares the same material and colour identity — a detail that makes the difference in a thoughtful interior design.
The Collections – A Woman’s Name for Every Design
CJC Systems gives each collection a woman’s name — a tradition that underscores the personal and artisanal character of the brand. The current range comprises collections in three categories: Classic Chic, KNX-native push buttons and touch switches.
Classic Chic – Xenia, Xuxa, Nina and Irina
The Classic Chic collections combine timeless aesthetics with contemporary refinement. Xenia, Xuxa, Nina and Irina are toggle switches and push buttons that each embody the tension between classic and modern in their own way. Nina is available in both 230V and KNX versions, offering flexibility for both traditional installations and fully fledged home automation systems.
KNX Collections – Anna, Zita, Mona, Lara and Lola
The five KNX collections form the technological heart of the CJC range. Each is developed directly for KNX, without an interface. They are powered via the KNX bus at 24V with a standard WAGO KNX connector.
Anna features small toggle levers as dual push buttons. Zita works with round push buttons with an integrated red orientation LED and white feedback LEDs. Mona has square push buttons, also with integrated LEDs. Lara presents flat square push buttons where unprogrammed LEDs remain invisible. And Lola is the most compact variant with small flat square push buttons.
All KNX collections are optionally equipped with an integrated temperature and humidity sensor, allowing the switch to also function as a room sensor for your climate control. The LED indicators provide both orientation lighting in the dark and visual feedback during operation, with adjustable brightness for day and night.
Flatline Versions
For interiors where an even sleeker profile is desired, CJC offers the Flatline variants of Lara and Lola. These ultra-slim versions retain all the functionality of the standard KNX collections but with a reduced profile that sits virtually flush with the wall.
Lucia – Touch Meets Design
Lucia is the touch switch from CJC Systems — a collection that combines touch technology with the brand’s signature aluminium design language. The name refers to the Latin Lux and the Italian Luce: light. Lucia detects swipe and touch movements via transparent touch bars that illuminate with RGB lighting. A subtle light accent that responds to your movement and indicates where the switch can be operated.
Lucia is available in versions with one, two or four multitouch surfaces and supports functions such as click, double-click, press and hold, and swipe. Available in 24V and KNX, in all fourteen finishes plus custom RAL.
Lisa – 230V Push Button
Lisa is the 230V collection for installations without a home automation bus. With multiple combinations of up to four push buttons and compatibility with impulse relays and dimmers at 230V, Lisa is the choice for renovation projects or spaces where a conventional electrical installation is the starting point.
KNX Functionality – Much More Than Switching
The KNX switches from CJC Systems are not simple push buttons with a bus connection. They are fully programmable KNX devices with an extensive feature set, configured via ETS. CJC collaborated with Lingg & Janke for the development of the KNX electronics, resulting in a proven and reliable ETS application.
The functionality includes switching and dimming of lighting, blind and shutter control, storing and recalling scenes, staircase functions with adjustable delays, logic functions such as AND, OR, XOR and NOT based on two inputs, and RGB lighting control. Each push button supports configurations such as short and long press, rocker function for combined control and inhibit functions for safety applications.
With a maximum of 86 group addresses and 86 associations per switch and a download time of approximately thirty seconds, the platform offers sufficient capacity for complex applications.
Cover Plates, Lighting and Accessories
CJC Systems offers a complete range that extends beyond switches alone. The programme includes cover plates for sockets in the Victor and Victor Flatline series, compatible with PEHA Concept 45 and Legrand Mosaïc modules. The Victor Flatline cover plates are just two millimetres thick for an extremely clean wall appearance.
In addition, CJC produces bedside lamps and orientation lighting in the same finishes as the switches. This makes it possible to create a fully coherent material palette throughout your home: from switch to socket, from orientation light to bedside lamp — all in the same finish and design language.
CJC Systems in Your Smart Home – How We Integrate
First, we analyse together with you and your architect which collection and finish best suit your interior concept. The choice between toggles, push buttons or touch depends on the desired operating experience and the architectural context. The finish is aligned with your colour and material palette.
We then programme each switch via ETS as an integral part of your KNX system. Each push button is assigned a function: switching or dimming lighting, controlling blinds, recalling a scene or a combination of actions. The LED feedback is configured so you always have a visual indication of which function is active.
Finally, we integrate the switches with your central smart home control. Via Control4 or a KNX visualisation, the switch operation becomes part of your daily scenes. A welcome scene activates the right lighting and blinds. A night scene extinguishes all lights in the house. And everything starts with a single touch on a CJC switch.
